Gratitudes are deeply personal, so why I am I sharing them on the internet? I think it can be helpful to know that others are doing this, and how they're doing it, as a source of inspiration for tapping into one's own day to day appreciations. That is the intention, no more, no less.

an assortment of things i have expressed gratitude for, from the various places I have noted them down:

- reading under the shade of a tree
- sick days
- slow and steady rainy day after lots of sunshine
- morning cup of tea
- plans to make popsicles
- getting a new book to read
- waking up to greeting meows
- spending a day at the lake
- asking for what i need
- red lupine flowers
- watching mustard yellow birds flit around chasing each other
- a cool shower after a hot & hard working day!
- sitting on the porch during a downpour
- a Sunday full of reading
- watching a fun new show on my own
